Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. COMPETITION & PROMOTER

    1. The PGT-Reclaimed (Australia) consumer trade draw is titled “A TRIP TO VIETNAM”, known here-in as "The Competition".
    2. The Competition commences at 9.00am, Saturday 1 October 2016 and closes at 11.59pm, Sunday 22 January 2017 (AEST).
    3. The Competition is limited to the valid purchase of an original four-piece bedroom suite, and/or seven piece dining suite of which the purchase is made from Oct 1st 2016 to January 22nd 2017.
    4. The promoter of the Competition is PGT-Reclaimed (AUSTRALIA) Pty Ltd – ABN 36 151 818 227, address:
      3/247 Bayview Street, Runaway Bay QLD 4216.
  2. PRIZE

    1. The Competition consists of one (1) major prize in total ("the Prize").
    2. The Prize constitutes two (2) tickets for a seven (7) day trip to Vietnam to visit the PGT-Reclaimed factory, Saigon, Cu Chi tunnel and the Mekong Delta.
    3. The Competition winner is also entitled to two (2) days of leisure in Vietnam at their own expense ("Free Time").
    4. The Prize must be claimed and fully utilised within a 12-month period of the Prize Winner being announced. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize is "fully utilised" when the winner departs from their Australian airport of departure.
    5. The Prize is not changeable, transferable, exchangeable or refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. No correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter regarding the form of the Prize.
    6. The Prize includes accommodation for two (2) people including breakfast for six (6) nights in a four-star hotel, airport transfers,
      private transfers to the factory and two (2) return economy airfares.
    7. The Prize is valued at approximately $6,000AUD.
  3. METHOD OF ENTRY

    1. Entries to the Competition during its duration will only be accepted by the following methods:
      a.

      Facebook - The entrant is required to complete the REGISTRATION FORM located on the "A TRIP TO VIETNAM" competition page on https://www.facebook.com/PGTreclaimed.australia.

      As per Facebook terms and conditions, it is optional for the entrant to like the PGT-Reclaimed (Australia) Facebook page.
      Entrants must submit a clear image of the fully paid tax invoice for a four-piece bedroom suite and / or seven-piece dining suite by 11.59pm, Sunday 22.01.2017 (AEST).
      b.

      Email - The entrant is required to email the Promoter at atriptovietnam@pgt-reclaimed.com.au with a clear image of the fully paid tax invoice (for a four-piece bedroom suite and/or seven-piece dining suite by 11.59pm, Sunday 22.01.2017 (AEST) to constitute a valid entry to the Competition.

      A valid email entry to the Competition must include the entrant's full name, phone number and email address.
    2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or misdirected entries.
  4. PRIZE DRAW & ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER

    1. The winner of the Competition will be drawn at random by an independent external party through a manual barrel draw and announced at a private event hosted by the Promoter held on the Gold Coast at 7.00pm, Friday 27.01.2017 ("the Prize Draw").
    2. The Promoter's decision on the winner of the Competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    3. The Competition winner will be announced on the PGT-Reclaimed (Australia) Facebook page and the PGT-Reclaimed (Australia) website within twenty-four (24) hours of the Prize Draw.
    4. The Competition winner will be notified in writing ("Notification Letter") either by email or Facebook messenger and where possible, by phone.
    5. Eligible entrants are responsible for keeping the Promoter informed of any changes to their contact details during and following the Competition.
  5. ELIGIBILITY, VALIDITY & VERIFICATION

    1. The Competition is open to all Australian residents who purchase the products from any one of the Promoter's Australian retail stockists during the Competition's duration, excluding employees, associates, immediate families, related entities, distribution centres and, employees and immediate families of the Promoter or any of its Australian retail stockists.
    2. Competition entrants must be:
      a. Eighteen (18) years or older (proof of age must be provided); and
      b. Be an Australian resident.
    3. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure their entry is valid and complies with these terms and conditions.
    4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries.
    5. Multiple entries for the same individual paid tax invoice will not be accepted.
    6. An entrant may submit a second (or multiple) entry/s that clearly shows a paid tax invoice for an additional products (as defined by these terms and conditions) that has not yet been submitted for competition entry.
    7. An entry will automatically be deemed to be invalid if:
      a. it does not include all of the documents and information required from an entrant by the Promoter at the time of entry to the Competition;
      b. following the Prize Draw, the entrant does not demonstrate proof of purchase of the Products by providing the Promoter or its authorised representative with the fully paid tax invoice that was submitted as entry to the Competition;
      c. the entrant cancels its purchase of the goods prior to fully utilising the Prize; or
      d. it is not otherwise in accordance with these terms and conditions.
    8. A deposit tax invoice will not be accepted as a valid entry.
  6. PRIZE CLAIM

    1. The winner must claim the Prize by responding to the Notification Letter.
    2. All travel included in the Prize (other than during the Free Time) will be arranged by PGT-Reclaimed (Australia) and its nominated representatives, and must be booked within sixty (60) days of the Prize Draw.
    3. In order to claim the Prize, the entrant must demonstrate proof of purchase of the Products by providing the Promoter or its authorised representative with the fully paid tax invoice that was submitted as entry to the Competition.
    4. The Competition winner's birth certificate or other form of government-issued ID may be requested by the Promoter after the
      Prize Draw and prior to the release of the Prize.
    5. The Promoter will deliver the Prize to the winner's nominated address.
  7. RE-DRAW

    1. If the Prize is unclaimed or is forfeited through failure to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will conduct further re-draw/s at 10.00am (AEST) at the Promoter's office in Runaway Bay QLD 4217 on Friday 10 February 2017 subject to any applicable law.
    2. The winner of a re-draw of the Competition will be sent a Notification Letter, the Promoter will attempt contact by phone, and the re-drawn Competition winner will also be published on the PGT-Reclaimed (Australia) Facebook page and website.
    3. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct successive re-draws until the Prize is won.
  8. ACCEPTANCE, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & CONSENT

    1. Entry to the Competition shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
    2. The Competition entrant expressly acknowledges that the:
      a. Competition is limited to the purchase of the designated PGT products only; and
      b. Free Time is at the winner's expense.
    3. Competition entrants expressly acknowledge that any performance, risk or safety related issues in relation to the Prize,
      the Terms and Conditions upon which those goods or services are supplied are matters between them and the relevant service provider.
    4. Competition entrants expressly acknowledge that they utilise the Prize at their own risk.
    5. By entering the Competition, entrants expressly and irrevocably consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and / or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and / or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products distributed and / or supplied by the Promoter.
    6. By entering the Competition, entrants have the opportunity to subscribe to receive email updates and marketing from PGT-Reclaimed (Australia). Entrants can contact the Promoter by either by email or Facebook messenger to stop receiving marketing material.
    7. The Competition winner agrees to make themselves available for publicity opportunities at the discretion of the Promoter for the period between the Prize Draw and the collection of the Prize, and for up to one (1) calendar month following the
      collection of the Prize.
  9. DISQUALIFICATION, NO WARRANTY or REPRESENTATION

    1. If Promoter has reason to believe the Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unlawful conduct, conduct which places the Competition at risk, unauthorised intervention, tampering or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to:
      a. disqualify any entrant found to have breached these terms and conditions; or
      b. modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition.
    2. The Promoter and its authorised representatives make no representations regarding the Competition other than as set out in these terms and conditions.
    3. The Promoter and its authorised representatives make no warranty regarding the Competition or the goods and services associated with the Prize.
  10. DISCLAIMER

      The Promoter and its authorised representatives expressly disclaim all liability that may arise from the Competition or goods and services associated with the Prize to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  11. NO ENDORSEMENT

      The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn or Google+.
  12. LICENCE

      The Competition entrant licenses and grants the Promoter, its authorised representatives, affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display photos taken upon receiving the Prize for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes,
      in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.
  13. AMENDMENTS

    1. These Terms and Conditions may be amended by the Promoter at its sole and absolute discretion.
    2. The Promoter will give entrants one (1) day's written notice of any amendments.
  14. APPLICABLE LAW

      This is a game of chance and is a lottery / sweepstake competition deemed a Category 4 Promotional Game governed by the Queensland Department of Liquor and Gaming under the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Qld).
  15. PRIVACY

      The Promoter's privacy policy applies to all personal information provided by entrants and can be supplied upon request.
